The vividness is amazing. It is hard to b elieve such a brilinat novel could be considered ' weak '. I have not read The Wayward Bus, but I have read East of Eden and I've found very few novels that measure up to the control, ambition and style of that novel. <br />I just bought Grapes of Wrath and Cannery Row a few weeks ago but haven't cracked them open yet, a few other books are before them on my reading list, but if they are even half as good as East of Eden I will be thoroughly content.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
